"The heavens declare the glory of God;
and the firmament shows His handiwork.

He sits above the circle of the earth,
and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers.
He stretches out the heavens like a curtain,
and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.

He measures the waters in the hollow of his hand,
He measures heaven with a span
He calculates the dust of the earth
He weighs the mountains in scales
And measures the hills in a balance.

Summertime Sunday #1 Australia Day

Summertime is a new blog, a new concept by a little boy via his dear Mommy. This boy is starting to get discouraged and wanted to discontinue this Meme, but I am giving a boost to the dear Mommy not to give up because I am joining the fun. I have no more little children but that won't stop me from playing the game for Summertime. Click here and please add your name in Mr Linky's widget and help us to keep the ball rolling. We are counting on you so we can cheer up a little boy's spirit.

Stairway to Rinnie's Beach

Spray Rock

Mountain Stream by the beach

Obedient to their MasterThere's a long stairway down to the beach called Rinnie in Ulladullah, NSW. This was taken at summertime in Australia exactly when we celebrated Australia Day last January 26, 2009. The picture below with the two dogs obediently sitting down for their master was taken with permission. I was down the beach all by myself early in the morning writing a blog when these two rascals came out of the blue and startled my peace.

As a punishment, I took them this photo. The master obediently obliged to me. Pity I did not show interest in getting to know him. He must think I was trespassing his territory. No, he did not punish me.

Heaven, man and earth: the three basic rules in flower arrangement. Thanks to my Home Economics Teacher Mrs PCL of Karomatan Central Elementary School. Thanks also to my anonymous donor. Out from the sparse supply delivered by our local florist, I made do with my creative hobby: flower arrangement.

Sarah's Lookout, where Behold the Glory of the Sky was taken.

Below this National Reserve Park at Clifton Gardens is the cove, and on the elevated platform is Sarah's Look Out. This is the same place where I took these: picture1 and picture2 previously posted in another Meme.

Behold The Glory of the Sky

Skywatch Friday #5

The SWF Team would appreciate our visit to other Skies and tell them very nicely about our Opinion. Fair dinkum?

This Glorious Sky has a bit of its story. And also my poetic mind
and romantic heart made me write something corny. It's called
Beyond the Blue.

Coming, Going by the Sea with Somewhere in Between

Watery Wednesday#4

Some splashes can be found somewhere. Search them in the high seas or in the lowlands of the world. It's Watery Wednesday today! Great concept of 2sweetnsaxy of Eyes Mind Heart.

My own human Ibis wading on her own.

Just the two of us in our territorial bliss.

It was early in the morning, my girl and I slipped out of the holiday apartment. We decided to go for a walk. It was calm and comfortably cool. She waded herself to test the temperature of the water if it was fit for swimming. It was perfect being in the middle of Spring. She didn't know my cam was following her.Too late to protest though. She might just as well enjoy the view. Do you? The Entrance is located in Central West Coast of New South Wales.

Post Script: See this real Watery Wednesday from down under. This happens in the State of Queensland, northern border of New South Wales.

Velvet Satin

How I long to kiss your supple lips;
How I long to touch your silken skin;
In my dream, I dream your velvet satin
Let your breasts be my soft pillow
As I lay asleep in your sweet embrace.
My pride; my joy.

"No man is an island". But this gorgeous Yellow Bird, obviously of a
parrot specie, didn't seem to mind his solitary existence.

I took him using my zoomless digicam about five meters away
because I didn't want to stir him out of the branch. Holding
my breath, I could only sigh with relief after I managed to take this
photo in haste fearing the poor thing would fly away.

Australia has millions of bird species and this was the first time I
saw this bird in the village, so I'll leave you guessing. I did try to
google search...ahhhh

Scenic Sunday #4 Way Out in the Country

Scenic Sunday

Rounding the countryside this time. So I thought if I can show a couple
of my old hometown and one of its close neighbouring county. What about giving other Scenic Sunday sites a visit and leaving a drop of your appreciative comment?

"I went to visit our old country town in Orange. I was rather feeling sentimental that tears just rolled down my face the moment the Express
Train was heading the town. I might be full of sentimentality in this travel,
but it also had a tad of humour because I boldly hopped in without booking. Soon I was inside the train, there was no seat allocated for me, so I spoke to
the officer that I illegally boarded without a ticket. Oh, they kept me alright. They found me a place to sit on and allowed me to pay the fare on board. It
was a very relaxing journey and I soaked my mind with past recollections
while enjoying the countryside scenery". ~January 21, 2008

The picture above was taken from the lookout of the town overlooking the mountain landscape of Mt Canobolas. This is a famous "Winter Wonderland" when it snows. Winter is from June to August.

Millthorpe, a small village outside Orange. It's a fairly quiet rural town borne by its own historical relics and artefacts of the convicts' days.

My most recent visit to this little county was tainted with sorrow when I attended our faithful brethren's funeral. It was a perfect day with masses of thick white clouds that hovered around the mourners sending chills into our spine with extra-ordinary cold wind coming from nowhere.

I did a bit of write-up about Orange I would like to share with you.

Happy Mother's Day
to all the mothers in the world!

Watery Wednesday # 3 Deep deep Blue Sea

My AIMLESS THOUGHT

This set of photographs is a sequel to my Scenic Sunday#3 shots taken in the same place at different areas. In here, I was in my best privileged position to take snapshots from an elevated balcony of a big holiday house nestling on top of the mountain. I captured these at the height of our autumn in a very summery mood as an aftermath of "heatwave" plaguing this part of the hemisphere. If the outcome of this blog comes distorted, don't panic, as am experimenting with my photo blogging editing skills with a bit of "art". You know trying to be a 'wannabe' creative person and weirdo I am.

Truth of the matter is, it was that little sail boat floating on its own on that particular day that called my attention. I was just being too ambitious and adventurous to try it with my zoomless digicam that I boldly took these photos. And I had a bit of 'good luck'; somehow I did manage to get the glimpse of that lonely sailor gently ploughing the ocean on his own. I wish I was with him and maybe I could have written more poetry. What do you think? Oh, this silly hopeless romantic heart of me. Stop it Me!

Okay Guys, there are plenty of waters to surf around the four continents of the world. Give it a Go this Watery Wednesday!
