Skywatch Friday # 3 Clouds Bursting in Air

Tapestry in the Sky

Yap! American Brothers, I took my Amateurish Photographic Adventure to the sky! These pictures were taken from San Francisco, California skies on my way to Washington DC on the eve of my 55th birthday on board United Airlines.

I was very lucky to be rewarded a seat by the window because I missed my early flight. It was a very long walk around San Francisco Airport to go to UA's info desk to re-book the next flight to Wash DC.

I was very pleased to see the results of these pictures remembering the inconvenience of the space while trying to get the best vantage of view of the sky on board a flying plane with a mini digicam.

This was a very memorable journey for me and a sentimental one. The plane touched down past 9pm in Dullas-Washingon DC Airport and I finally arrived my destination 1 o'clock in the morning. I couldn't believe myself travelling all alone in that strange land in the middle of the night.

But I was blessed with a very good and kind taxi driver who delivered me safe and sound to the doorstep of Hilton Hotel. Sound like I'm a millionaire eh? lol. No way! Just sharing my nostalgic trip and my first ever to the USA.

Watery Wednesday #2 The Spit

A nice ride on a Railbus to Northern Beaches gave me the opportunity to click my little shutter to catch this view of The Spit Harbour. A Yacht Club manages this moor, a toyboat playground for the rich and the famous of Sydney. This is only a tip of the iceberg of the whole lot around this part of the city.

As you may notice the quality of the pictures, the reflection of the bus window is pretty much visible with its watermark shade that hides the white clouds. The only stationary shot is the #3 to the bottom. That was when the bus halted due to a long queue caused by heavy traffic. The other three shots; #1, #2 and #4 were adventurously taken while the vehicle was moving.

It works though. Not bad for an amateur eh!

Life in the Bush Part 2 - Moved

This beautiful house was built by the owners themselves. A nest where love resides. Their love is warm for all friends and guests who step inside. A virtue that is becoming less and less to be found these days.

Some interesting world out there to see. Please visit My World today.
