Just pictures in review. These were obviously antiquated having been taken in 2005 one sultry Autumn Day down under in November. It was my free day. I grabbed my little girl and her best friend Shenali to come with me. I took them to a harbourside restaurant and gave them a Shout. Not that I yelled at them, I mean a blow out. I did not blow them out either. Meaning, I paid for their menu fare.

Wedding Tour Second Stop

Yes, this scenic picture is part of the Wedding Tour and our second stop on that weekend my girl got married. I haven't been on this part of the harbour and we did enjoy walking to exercise our legs from sitting down inside The Hummer.

The waterway is part of Circular Quay. I cruise this water many times to go to Manly, Milsons Point, Mosman, The Spit and anywhere else around the coves and bays of Sydney suburbs accessible by water transport.

Brief Info about the Bridge:

The Sydney Harbour Bridge, also affectionately known as the 'Coathanger', was opened on March 19th 1932 by Premier Jack Lang, after six years of construction. Made of steel the bridge contains 6 million hand driven rivets. The surface area that requires painting is equal to about the surface area of 60 sports fields. The Bridge has huge hinges to absorb the expansion caused by the hot Sydney sun. You will see them on either side of the bridge at the footings of the Pylons.
