Old Post Office near Central Railway Station

MARYT/THETEACH conceptualized that All Doors and Windows must be opened to Everyone but only on WEDNESDAY. Enjoy good VIEWING!

As I stood one morning at Lee Street Bus Bay to go to the Northern Shore, this building across the street had caught my attention due to its distinct heritage characteristic. Then I noticed the embossed Seal or Coat of Arms above the archway door and subsequently read the name of the building Post Office.

The seal was produced by the General Post Office, Sydney New South Wales in 1838.

To the stamp enthusiasts, clicking on the link of the Seal might lead you to something interesting about the history of Australian Stamp Making.

This is the full view of this heritage building now renamed Medina Executive Sydney Central Hotel.

Cheers!

Morning After

Story So Far

It was a quiet Sabbath morning, the soon Mother-of-the-Bride had to get up early. All things were packed though for a beautiful long week-end to spend with a daughter, the bride-to-be.

As usual, my ritual is to embrace light from my kitchen window where the sink is facing the north-eastern sky partly covered by a high brick wall at the back and the skyview partly impeded by few bare trees.

I took these pictures under the obliging obedience from Eric in sequence of time of the day. You will work it out yourself when they were taken.

Happy SWF to all! Gee, how time flies!
