What You See is What You Get

Scenic Sunday #5

Scenic Sunday

To see some interesting scenery, please click the picture of Scenic Sunday above. It will take you to another world and if you're not a participant yet, perhaps, you may be interested to join in. Just follow the simple commandment posted there.

Sarah's Lookout, where Behold the Glory of the Sky was taken.

Below this National Reserve Park at Clifton Gardens is the cove, and on the elevated platform is Sarah's Look Out. This is the same place where I took these: picture1 and picture2 previously posted in another Meme.

Coming, Going by the Sea with Somewhere in Between

Watery Wednesday#4

Some splashes can be found somewhere. Search them in the high seas or in the lowlands of the world. It's Watery Wednesday today! Great concept of 2sweetnsaxy of Eyes Mind Heart.

My own human Ibis wading on her own.

Just the two of us in our territorial bliss.

It was early in the morning, my girl and I slipped out of the holiday apartment. We decided to go for a walk. It was calm and comfortably cool. She waded herself to test the temperature of the water if it was fit for swimming. It was perfect being in the middle of Spring. She didn't know my cam was following her.Too late to protest though. She might just as well enjoy the view. Do you? The Entrance is located in Central West Coast of New South Wales.

Post Script: See this real Watery Wednesday from down under. This happens in the State of Queensland, northern border of New South Wales.

Scenic Sunday #4 Way Out in the Country

Scenic Sunday

Rounding the countryside this time. So I thought if I can show a couple
of my old hometown and one of its close neighbouring county. What about giving other Scenic Sunday sites a visit and leaving a drop of your appreciative comment?

"I went to visit our old country town in Orange. I was rather feeling sentimental that tears just rolled down my face the moment the Express
Train was heading the town. I might be full of sentimentality in this travel,
but it also had a tad of humour because I boldly hopped in without booking. Soon I was inside the train, there was no seat allocated for me, so I spoke to
the officer that I illegally boarded without a ticket. Oh, they kept me alright. They found me a place to sit on and allowed me to pay the fare on board. It
was a very relaxing journey and I soaked my mind with past recollections
while enjoying the countryside scenery". ~January 21, 2008

The picture above was taken from the lookout of the town overlooking the mountain landscape of Mt Canobolas. This is a famous "Winter Wonderland" when it snows. Winter is from June to August.

Millthorpe, a small village outside Orange. It's a fairly quiet rural town borne by its own historical relics and artefacts of the convicts' days.

My most recent visit to this little county was tainted with sorrow when I attended our faithful brethren's funeral. It was a perfect day with masses of thick white clouds that hovered around the mourners sending chills into our spine with extra-ordinary cold wind coming from nowhere.

I did a bit of write-up about Orange I would like to share with you.

Happy Mother's Day
to all the mothers in the world!

Watery Wednesday #2 The Spit

A nice ride on a Railbus to Northern Beaches gave me the opportunity to click my little shutter to catch this view of The Spit Harbour. A Yacht Club manages this moor, a toyboat playground for the rich and the famous of Sydney. This is only a tip of the iceberg of the whole lot around this part of the city.

As you may notice the quality of the pictures, the reflection of the bus window is pretty much visible with its watermark shade that hides the white clouds. The only stationary shot is the #3 to the bottom. That was when the bus halted due to a long queue caused by heavy traffic. The other three shots; #1, #2 and #4 were adventurously taken while the vehicle was moving.

It works though. Not bad for an amateur eh!

More drips and splashes of water feature from Watery Wednesday right here.

Life in the Bush Part 2 - Moved

This beautiful house was built by the owners themselves. A nest where love resides. Their love is warm for all friends and guests who step inside. A virtue that is becoming less and less to be found these days.

Some interesting world out there to see. Please visit My World today.
