A New Morning in My Life

Skywatch Friday #10
From Dot to Tom over to Host Klaus with Sandy, Ivar, Wren, Fishing Guy and ...Louise. SkyWatch Friday continues to create a huge sensational Phenomenon in the Meme World. Please keep Skywatching every Friday....the Sky is just above you. Look UP!

I don't know what I am feeling ... I just found myself totally submerged in my own thought ...being in an empty nest. However, when I woke up these heavenly scenes were what have greeted me starting from my kitchen window. The morning winter chills went far away and still donned in my pajamas, I went outside to really savor my eyes the beautiful sky perfected with gorgeous clouds. I could roll or wrap myself in their tapestry. Enjoy my Eric's work of art!

"I saw two clouds at morning Tinged by the rising sun, And in the dawn they floated on And mingled into one."~John Gardiner Calkins Brainard

The first two: The sunrise taken from my kitchen window.

Post Script:

I would like to say Thank You to all who had left comments in my previous Skywatch Friday inspite of my absence. The wedding was beautiful but being the Mother of the Bride, I was not privileged to do anything. My Eric was not being helpful. He did not want me to take pictures. So am still waiting for my friends to send me the picture files so that I can share them with you. I did enjoy the day having to wear two titles: Mother of the Bride and Mother-in-Law. I love both.

Thank you also for the best wishes for my daughter's wedding. Much appreciated.

I still have to blog the event as I was not given much chance to really write my heart away.

Yes, I finally blogged it but still needs trimming and polishing. In short, Editing. It's only a rough draft. It's there!

Again, my heartfelt appreciation to all. Love You all. Blessings!

Beautiful skies to take your mind off of the empty nest. Congratulations to your daughter. To paraphrase the old saying, you haven't lost a daughter, you've gained a son!

Such gentle and soft sky pics. I love the lace work of the winter trees. We don't have them here. Your nest may yet here the pitter patter of little feet again one day. Remember your bloggy friends will always be with you in your empty nest

Brilliant soft wonders to start the day with. Fun how the trees seemed to interact with the clouds.

Isn't it amazing how watching the skies tends to lift spirits and put things into perspective! Your sky views are magnificent ... it's impossible to choose a favorite.

Such beautiful captures of your skies. There are a couple there that look like the volume of Niagara Falls falling off the escarpment (in particular the one with the silhouetted tree). I also share your feels on loosing a daughter but gaining a son-in-law!
Blessings and smiles
